Award-winning director/producer whose latest feature, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO (Tribeca 2019), is a follow-up to his landmark documentary, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO (Sundance 2007) which examines the intersection of religion, sexual orientation and gender identity. Karslake’s second film, EVERY THREE SECONDS (NOIFF 2014), is about the amazing potential in each of us to change the world.  Dan currently serves as the Acting Executive Director of Conscious Goodness, the non-profit sister company of Conscious Good.

Trina Wyatt

With the belief that visual stories have the power to change the world, Trina Wyatt launched Conscious Good, a community-driven media platform committed to elevating consciousness.

One of Trina’s most notable career achievements was launching the Tribeca Film Festival for Robert De Niro and taking the reigns as its first Festival Director. Trina has also held leadership positions with entertainment companies such as Gaia, Prana Studios, Intrepid Pictures, Withoutabox (sold to Amazon), Film Independent, Turner Pictures and Carolco Pictures.

Considered a leader in the conscious media movement, Trina speaks at numerous national events on the topic of media/entertainment and its impact.

Trina received her MBA from NYU and her BA in Economics from UCLA.  She is also a certified Kundalini yoga teacher and was recently honored to join the group, Evolutionary Leaders.

Joe Neulight

Secretary

Joe Neulight has a diverse background in media, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Chromasonic, an immersive light and sound experience to inspire expanded states of awareness and connection.

He was a Co-Founder and CEO of Critical Mass Studios, whose Rightsline product became the world’s leading rights management platform, used by global media titans such as Disney, Comcast, Google, and others. Prior, he served as Co-Founder and COO of Without A Box, sold in 2008 to Amazon (AMZN), where he gained corporate know-how as Director of Distribution for IMDb.

As an angel investor and advisor, some of Neulight’s other business activities include cleaner energy and chemistry, healthcare technologies, natural foods, and real estate.

Deborah Zipser

Deborah Zipser is a veteran film and television executive with over twenty-five years of experience.  Deborah was general counsel and a production executive for IM Global Entertainment where she oversaw all aspects of business, legal affairs, and deal strategy as well as serving as a production executive on several of the company’s film projects.  Film projects included Hacksaw Ridge, Serenity, The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Zoe among many others.

Prior to IM Global, Deborah was Head of Business Affairs at River Road Entertainment.  Deborah’s prior roles have also included serving as a senior investment executive with Screen Australia, Head of Business Affairs at the Motion Picture Bond Company and senior associate in film and media law with Marshall’s and Dent.

In the non-profit arena, Deborah is the Co-Founder of Australians in Film and has also served on the boards of the Women in Film Foundation and Women in Film in Australia.

Melissa Rowe

Mlissa K. Rowe (she/her) is Vice President, Global Research Talent at the RAND Corporation with over 19 years of senior executive experience.

Rowe is RAND’s principal strategic advisor on the development and sustainment of RAND’s global research talent base. She oversees a multidisciplinary staff of approximately 1,600 scientists, analysts, and research support professionals, encompassing over 100 different disciplinary backgrounds.

As a senior behavioral scientist, her research interests include behavioral health services, quality of care, arts education, K–12 education policy, STEM education, diversity and workforce management, democratization of technology, and innovation. She is also an affiliate faculty member at the Pardee RAND Graduate School.

Rowe received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the UCLA, and completed her clinical internship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh.

Amir Banifatemi

Amir Banifatemi has more than 25 years of experience in development and growth of emerging and transformative technologies.  At XPRISE, he is the General Manager for Innovation and Growth, and leads the AI initiatives.  He is also the Executive Director of the IBM Watson AI Prize and the ANA Avatar XPRIZE.

Prior to joining XPRIZE, Mr. Banifatemi began his career at the European Space Agency and then held executive positions at Airbus, AP-HP and the European Commission division for the information society and media.  He managed two venture capital funds and contributed to the formation of more than 10 startups with emphasis on information technologies, telecommunications, loT, and healthcare.

Mr. Banifatemi is a guest lecturer and an adjunct MBA professor at UC Berkeley, Chapman, HEC Paris and others.
